The NW Prevention Resource Center welcomes the opportunity to work with your staff during a teacher in-service.  There are many different topics which could be covered at a very reasonable cost to your school district plus we have access to trainers across the state to address specific issues.

  • Alcohol prevention

  • Tobacco prevention

  • Information on different drugs and their effect

  • Violence prevention

  • Bullying/ cyber bullying/ harassment prevention

  • Fostering parent involvement through family nights

  • Facilitating learning through activities that teach alcohol, tobacco, other drug and violence prevention

  • Peer Helpers: An introduction to a program that utilizes key staff and students as a support group. Further training is available to utilize the program.

  • Information session on resources available in the library

  • Life Skills Curriculum: A program that fosters health and personal development
